Form 1099-B

Broker form reporting stock sales, proceeds and often incomplete basis for RSUs.

Also called: 1099-B

reports proceeds from broker sales of stocks and other securities. You use it with Form 8949 and Schedule D on your federal return.

For sales, Box 1e () may show $0 or be blank even when you already paid tax on value via wages.

Compare to your and confirmations. You may need a basis adjustment so you are not taxed twice on the same dollars.
